The functions of HDPE pond liners include lining irrigation ponds in agriculture and fish/shrimp farming in commercial aquaculture, as well as canals, lagoons, landfills, and industrial wastewater containment facilities.
For fish and shrimp farms, a thickness between 0.75 mm and 1.00 mm (30-40 mil) is typical, whereas heavy industrial dams, rocky terrains, or heavy agricultural dams need a thickness between 1.50 mm and 2.00 mm 60 to 80 mil.
