The HDPE Pond Liners (High-Density-Polyethylene) are synthetic membrane liners characterized by low permeability, which are made from high density polyethylene resin. The advantages of these liners include the following properties: high flexibility, high chemical resistance, high strength, and low moisture absorption capacity. HDPE liners may be applied in geotechnical containment when there is a need in highly UV-resistant barrier materials.

These liners demonstrate high resistance to acids, alkalis, and agricultural chemicals. HDPE liners can be used for waste pits in industries, irrigation reservoirs, canals and water storage tanks.   • Step 2: Extrusion process: The raw material is heated and extruded with the help of heavy extruders into uniform masses.
  • Step 3 – Sheet formation: The material is formed into continuous sheets in the form of specific cross-sectional gauge and width through circular co-extrusion dies or blown film/slot dies.
  • Step 4: Cooling and calibration – The geomembrane sheet is fed through calendaring cooling rollers to set the finishing characteristics of the geomembrane.
